🧠 My own story and travelling adventures in short format.

[80s to 98] At an early age I move from the capital to sun-drenched beaches of the Algarve transformed me into the forever Ocean Whisperer and tidal exploration enthusiast I am to this day.

[98 to 2002] The time came to relocate to the vibrant chaos of Lisbon. In Bairro Alto I witnessed the city's unique blend of tradition and modernity, immersing myself in it's lively nightlife, eclectic culture and renewed impulse of Lisbon's World Fair 1998.

[2002 to 2007] Seeking more adventure I continued in London, where I caught the last glimpses of Camden's iconic music scene before it faded into memory. The city's energy and diversity left a lasting impression.

[2008 to 2012] Along came the global financial crisis, which combined with London's instability (and terror attacks) I decided to return to Lisbon.

[2012 to 2016] The thirst for new grew within me and thus I ventured into the frozen Valhalla landscapes of the Nordic countries, from the serenity of Helsinki and Stockholm, to the bustling streets of Copenhagen but alas their stoic posture did not resonate with me.

In the Baltics, I discovered a hidden gem of culture and history, exploring the whole region from Tallinn's medieval Old Town to Riga's Art Nouveau architecture.

[2017 to 2018] My journey continued in Southeast Asia, where I explored the vibrant cities of Shanghai and Manila the region's culture and history were both exotic and strangely familiar at the same time. Fate led me to the mega metropolis of Tokyo and the innovation friendly Fukuoka. I was captivated by Japan's blend of tradition and modernity. Tokyo's neon-lit streets of Shibuya, it's hidden gem that is Sangenjaya triangle all the way south to the street food "yatai stalls" almost made me stay.

[2018 - Present] Luck had it I decided instead to return home to Portugal just as the global pandemic took hold. Here I weathered the storm and emerged with a renewed appreciation for the serenity, bliss and beauty of my homeland.
